CrossLink International's Seventh Annual Band Aid Ball will be held at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner Saturday, April 10, 2010. This year's gala takes us to the Caribbean as we celebrate "Treasures of the TradeWinds." The Ball will begin at 6:00pm this year with the opening of the silent auction, accompanied by Caribbean steel drums. The ballroom will open at 7:30 for dinner, as well as the exciting Live Auction presided over by David Quinn of Quinn's Auction Galleries, and entertainment by the Caribbean American International Steel Orchestra.
The Band Aid Ball is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the work of CrossLink International -- equipping medical mission teams with medicines, supplies and equipment. During the evening, it will be our privilege this year to hear directly from mission team participants working in a number of Caribbean countries. Their stories will give first-hand accounts of how CrossLink has made a difference in their ministries of healing and hope. A very specific highlight of this year's Ball will be the dedication of 10% of all Band Aid Ball 2010 revenues to earthquake relief in Haiti.
Tickets for the event are $175 per person. There are numerous opportunities to be a sponsor of the event. For more information on tickets and sponsorships, go to Band Aid Ball registration, (starting Januray 25th). In addition, the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner has provided CrossLink with a group of rooms for $85 the night of the Ball. Contact the hotel at 1-800-445-8667 or 703-847-5000. Request the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner 7th Annual Band Aid Ball Room Block. The group code is CLI.
Don't miss this wonderful evening! Since 1997, CrossLink International has provided more than $44 million of medical aid to 115 countries. Funds raised from the Band Aid Ball make sure that work continues. And again, this year's Ball will contribute 10% of its revenue to assist teams working with Haitian earthquake victims. Your help will make a difference in lives around the world.
